FAQ

How long does it take to setup my API Genie account?

The initial setup of the account will take a few minutes. Setting up connectors and workflows can take anywhere from 5 minutes to an hour.

Do I need any technical knowledge to use API Genie

The idea is that no technical background should be required to use API Genie, we do however recommend that some technical understanding will be good to understand fully how to use and set up the integrations.

How fast will support get back to me?

We try to get back to clients within a few hours, however due to time differences and not having support staff on all timezones, it can take a bit longer for some requests to be answered.

Does API Genie charge for extra Connectors?

Depending on the account type, there are a certain number of connectors included. Using more connectors than what is included in your package will cost a small monthly fee.

Can I send data to multiple destinations?

Yes, by setting up Dataflows in our system, you are able to send the same data to multiple destinations.

What is an iPaaS?

iPaaS stands for Integration Platform as a Service – Basically it means that we offer you a cloud based integration platform which you can use to integrate the systems you use for your eCommerce or Logistics business.

Do I need any hardware or software to run API Genie?

No, API Genie is a 100% online cloud based platform which does not require any other hardware or software to have running.

Do you have an open API?

At this point we do not offer any open API solution. However this is on our roadmap for 2025.

What are credits used for?

To make sure we can offer the best possible price for everyone, we had to come up with a way to differentiate clients based on the usage of the system. So we use credits to determine how much you use the system. Basically every time information is passed to or from API Genie, 1 credit is used. Your account (Excluding the free version) includes a set number of credits for every month. Overuse can either be pre-paid or paid at the end of the month.
